When life feels complicated, simple pleasures offer tremendous solace.
That in mind, here are three things I’m loving lately.
Though small, they bring much ease.
Thing one: this view from my Airbnb.
Also, celebrating delicious quiet (except for Vancouver gulls) and a rare week away from home.
I so welcome the loosening of scheduled time and to-dos. My agenda: taking several yoga classes a day, eating nourishing food, walking lots, living slow.
Thing two: a lone raven in evening rain.
I crave solitude, silence and stillness with my entire being.
Here’s to lots of it – along with spaciousness, deep listening and ease.
Thing three: texts from home.
I love being alone. But also miss my partner and cat children terribly.
They fill my heart, whether near or far.
