As those of you following me for a while know, I’m a huge fan of Mark Sisson and his website Mark’s Daily Apple.
I started reading MDA years ago, even before adopting a primal lifestyle. Indeed, it played an important part in convincing me to give this “primal thing” a go.
Mark’s been at the forefront of the paleo-primal current for quite a while—long before it became the widespread, rapidly expanding movement it is today.
I put a high level of trust in Mark and his work. I also have great admiration for his balanced, nuanced views; his ongoing, open-minded exploration of self and world; and his openness and authenticity.
In short, if you haven’t started following Mark’s Daily Apple yet, I highly recommend it!
This week on the site, Mark and his team featured me, as a graduate of the Primal Blueprint Certification program.
In this interview-style post, I answer questions about various topics, including:
- How I came to adopt a primal lifestyle
- How I came to study holistic nutrition
- Places of overlap between primal principles and holistic medicine
