Curious how this year’s “Black Friday – Cyber Monday” week landed with folks.
For me, it has NOT led to more buying…but rather the opposite – lending further impetus to my mood and practice of decluttering, sorting, minimizing.
Keeping things simple.
Even with brands I adore, the sales feel overwhelming.
Too many options + aversion to extra stuff + love of simplicity and spaciousness…
Adds up to just stepping back. And pausing.
(Above: LingDao helps me pause.)
So I’ve said no to extra work…whittled away piles of books even further…unfollowed more than half of those I follow on Instagram…and ruthlessly edited my already tidy notebook and laptop files.
I’m longing for less clutter, more clarity.
That’s at the top of this season’s wish list.
And you? Buying? Not buying? Something else? I’d love to hear in the comments.
