Well. We made it. After a long journey from northern Colorado to northwest Canada, we are settling into our new home.
Missing the backstory? You can find it here.
Short version? Next week I begin teaching Chinese Medicine to doctor’s students at my alma matter in magical Nelson, BC.
My work with Alchemist Eating will continue…now from a home office overlooking spectacular mountains and a glacial lake.
I’m so excited to see how the synergy between working with my own clients and teaching future practitioners unfolds.
This week, however, is all about unpacking and setting up shop. So alas, I don’t have much of a blog post for you.
But I wanted to stay connected all the same . . . and to at least share a few photos.
Before leaving, we reduced our already minimal belongings even further so they’d fit this truck.
Thankfully, my race car made the cut.
One thousand, two hundred miles is a looong ways with two Siamese cats riding shotgun.
But you’ll be happy to know, LingXu and LingDao are much happier now.
The four of us—those two, Randy and me—now share a home office.
And the three of us—those two and me—now share an office seat.
(When I can find space.)
So . . . our journey now enters a new phase.
I look forward to sharing more of our lives here (including the local food scene) in posts to come.

The heart of why I do this work is because I want to offer others the sort of caring, skillful guidance I could have used long ago.
