Are you ready to turn your new way of eating into a lifestyle?
(Can you really sustain this without being miserable?)
Through completion of the prerequisite starter package, you’ve gotten a solid start toward your desired destination with food, eating and health. You’ve seen wonderful changes unfold and feel well on your way.
But let’s face it. Changing lifelong patterns is a huge undertaking—90 days is just the beginning of an ongoing process.
Sure, you’ve got a strong foundation in place and a set of valuable tools. But heading off on your own this soon makes you a bit uneasy (perhaps even scared or overwhelmed).
You know you’re looking for a realistic lifestyle that you can sustain over the long term—not just a set of “food rules.” You also know you want this to be something you actually enjoy.
This 90-day Diet to Lifestyle package will help you “own” your new changes in a way that is enjoyable, sustainable and full of abundance.
You may be wondering: Can I really make these positive changes last? Can I continue moving toward my goals without struggle?
You’ve been here before…
You wouldn’t have invested your time, money and effort if you didn’t care about your body and your health. But you may have tried to maintain other diets or lifestyle changes in the past too…yet somehow they didn’t stick.
Problem is, making these sorts of shifts is a really big deal—cutting to the core of deep-rooted habits, patterns and beliefs.
Plus (as if that wasn’t enough), sometimes life just gets in the way. Work and home responsibilities, family and friends, unexpected circumstances—all these can make sustaining positive change crazy-hard (especially when change is so new).
What’s missing in the go-it-your-own approach?
Well, for one thing, you’re taking on lots of heavy lifting all at once—all by yourself.
Some folks do just fine with this…but many could use a little support. Someone to carry a bit of the load as they practice new skills, integrate what they’ve learned, consolidate wellness gains, and gather more momentum on the path toward their destination.
The idea is to empower you but not abandon you—making sure you have the support you need until you’ll be just fine without it.
Another reason going it alone is tough is because, in the early stages of learning and transformation, it’s pretty normal for things to still feel difficult and complicated.
For this reason, you may be relying on willpower or “white knuckling it” rather than finding ease and enjoyment in your changing relationship with food.
Sure, you’ve been sticking it out—after all, you’re seeing great results. But willpower has its limits, and sustaining results on willpower alone gets exhausting.
The key is reaching a place where “white knuckling it” is no longer needed and implementing new patterns comes naturally.
I have the experience and knowledge to help you reach this place, taking over some of the heavy lifting until you’re ready to hold your own.
I’m also here to show you that the process of changing your weight, overcoming an eating addiction, or “simply” learning how to eat healthier doesn’t have to be—and absolutely shouldn’t be—miserable.
What happens when you continue on for deeper work?
By staying on a bit longer, you’ll be getting continued support as you integrate what you’ve learned and consolidate your gains around food, eating and health, covering:
- How to create realistic, flexible meal plans (and follow through with them)
- How to fine-tune your optimal eating plan (and make extra “tweaks” that move you past plateaus and closer to end goals)
- Strategies for expanding your recipe repertoire and keeping eating interesting (even if you’re too busy or a lousy cook)
- Tips for getting friends and family on board with healthy eating (even doubtful spouses and reluctant teens)
- The secret to mindful cheating (in a way that won’t derail your progress)
- How to survive Day After Pizza situations (and other off-plan or over-indulgence disasters)
- How to turn habit—and your mind—from enemy into ally (one that helps you transform cravings, addictions and unhelpful patterns around food, eating and health)
How’s it work?
This is a 90-day program with in-person and long-distance options.
We start with an initial session assessing where you are now, after completion of your 90-day Alchemist Eating starter package.
This gives us a chance to celebrate your accomplishments, identify any areas of continued challenge, and plot next steps toward your specific goals.
It also offers me an opportunity to get feedback on what’s working for you and what types of support you’d like more of in the next stage.
I may also give you instructions regarding your Food & Drink Log, and/or adjustments to any previous eating guidance or herbal prescriptions.
Over the next 90 days, I’ll work with you one-on-one, providing:
- Customized eating guidance
- Herbal diagnosis and prescription of medicinal-grade herbs and supplements, along with a $50 credit each month to use toward prescribed herbs purchased through Alchemist Eating
Long-distance clients have the option of conducting sessions by phone or Skype, and herbs and supplements will be shipped to you directly.
In-person clients also receive:
- Acupuncture treatment
Weekly sessions are 60 minutes for in-person clients, allowing time for acupuncture. They are 30 minutes for long-distance clients. There are 12 sessions total—one each week over the 90 days.
During each session, I will:
- Check in to see how you’re doing and whether anything has changed
- Assess progress toward individual goals around health, lifestyle and eating
- Troubleshoot areas of concern or challenge, ensuring you leave each session with clear, doable next steps
- Prescribe any needed adjustments to your customized eating guidance and/or herbs and supplements
Long-distance clients also receive:
- Weekly email check-ins
This is in place for you to let me know how you’re doing and to request and receive feedback or support. It also helps us stay connected even though we’re not working together in person.
Many clients do continue working with me after the 90 days, whether through renewal of this program or through one of my other offerings.
That said, the Diet to Lifestyle package will get you well on your way. Many find it the pivotal step toward true integration and lasting success with food, eating and health.
I’m happy to work with you to determine your best options for follow-up.
